Send confirmed SMS, check credits, delivery and replies, and manage opt-outs with SMS Everyone. For businesses using SMS Everyone for reminders, alerts and customer messages. Hosted by usefulapi — connect from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP client.
Team and Enterprise: an Owner adds the connector for the organization first.

Run these commands. The second one opens the login page:
Other MCP clients (Windsurf, Cline, Zed and more): add the URL as a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP). The client then opens the login page in your browser. Do not add an Authorization header: see Before you connect.
Read the account balance and its Unicode and international messaging settings before planning a message.
smseveryone_get_account
Check a campaign’s lifecycle status, then inspect delivery receipts for the campaign or a selected destination. Missing receipts do not prove delivery.
smseveryone_get_campaign_status smseveryone_get_delivery_status
Read replies for a recent period or date range and page through the results while preserving their unread status.
smseveryone_list_replies
Review the message, registered sender and up to 25 explicit recipient numbers, then confirm an immediate or scheduled send using the account’s SMS credits.

The login page asks for your API username and API password.
Use the API username and password SMS Everyone provided. If you have not received them, ask SMS Everyone for API access. Sending SMS through this server spends credits from your account. Your login is used only to call the SMS Everyone API on your behalf; it is never shown to anyone.
Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config. The server signs you in with OAuth: the login page asks for your API username and API password. If the config has such a header, remove it: some clients then send that header instead of the login token, and every call fails with 401.
Turn on the SMS Everyone connector, then ask in plain words. The AI picks the tools.
| Tool | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
smseveryone_get_account | read | Get account settings and credits Show the SMS Everyone account: user id, remaining SMS credits, whether unicode (emoji, non-English text) is enabled and whether international messaging is allowed. SMS Everyone REST: POST /api/RetrieveUserSettings. |
smseveryone_get_campaign_status | read | Get campaign status Show whether a sent or scheduled campaign is Scheduled, Running, Paused or Deleted. SMS Everyone REST: POST /api/campaign with Action status. |
smseveryone_get_delivery_status | read | Get delivery status Delivery receipts of a campaign: one entry per destination with a timestamp, a DeliveryReceiptStatusId and a carrier code. Pass destination to see one number only. An empty list means no receipt has arrived yet (carriers can take up to 24 hours) or the campaign id is not on this account. SMS Everyone asks for no more than one request per minute in production. SMS Everyone REST: POST /api/DRStatus. |
smseveryone_list_replies | read | List SMS replies List SMS replies received on the account: received time, the sender's number (Originator), the account number it was sent to (Recipient), the text and a reference id. Always asks for a time window (the last `days` days, 1 to 7, counted back to 12am yesterday for 1, or a date range of at most 30 days), which leaves the replies available for later calls. Default: days 1. Production polling is limited to once per minute per account through this MCP; five minutes is recommended. SMS Everyone REST: POST /api/replies. |
smseveryone_list_optouts | read | List opted-out numbers List phone numbers in the account's optout database (messages to them are never sent): number, date added, reason. The API returns the whole list; this tool shows the first `limit` entries and the total. SMS Everyone REST: POST /api/optouts with Action list. |
smseveryone_list_contact_lists | read | List contact lists List the stored lists (CRM groups) of mobile numbers: list id (CrmId), description and number count. SMS Everyone REST: POST /api/crm with Action list. |
smseveryone_get_contact_list | read | Get the numbers in a contact list Show the mobile numbers stored in one list. The API returns the whole list; this tool shows the first `limit` numbers and the total count. SMS Everyone REST: POST /api/crm with Action details. |
smseveryone_send_sms | write | Send SMS WRITE: SENDS REAL SMS to real people and SPENDS CREDITS from the user's SMS Everyone account; a sent message cannot be recalled (a campaign scheduled for later can be cancelled with cancel_campaign). One message text to 1 to 25 phone numbers in international format without "+" (e.g. 61400123456 for Australia, 6421123456 for New Zealand). Cost = credits per part x number of parts x recipients: a text is 160 characters per part (153 when longer), and one emoji or non-English character makes it unicode: 70 characters per part (67 when longer), more credits. Numbers on the account's optout list are skipped. The originator is where the message appears to come from and must be one registered with SMS Everyone for the account (an Australian alphanumeric sender must be ACMA registered). Optional time_scheduled (YYYYMMDDHHmm in the account's time zone; a time in the past sends at once). Only send what the user explicitly asked for; confirm the text, recipients and sender first. No stored lists, no bulk. SMS Everyone REST: POST /api/campaign with Action create. |
smseveryone_cancel_campaign | write | Cancel a scheduled campaign WRITE: deletes a scheduled SMS campaign so it is not sent. Only works before the campaign start time (afterwards SMS Everyone refuses it with an error code). It cannot be undone. SMS Everyone REST: POST /api/campaign with Action delete. |
smseveryone_pause_campaign | write | Pause a campaign WRITE: pauses a scheduled campaign (or one that is sending; SMS Everyone sends over 1000 messages a second, so a running campaign usually finishes first). A campaign scheduled in the past cannot be paused. This server has no way to resume it: the user must do that in SMS Everyone. SMS Everyone REST: POST /api/campaign with Action pause. |
smseveryone_add_optouts | write | Opt numbers out WRITE: adds 1 to 25 phone numbers to the account's optout database, so no later campaign is sent to them. This server cannot opt a number back in. Do it only when the user asks. SMS Everyone REST: POST /api/optouts with Action add. |
smseveryone_usage_status | Usage status (free-tier meter) Report the caller's current usage: the plan, calls used this month, the limit of the plan (the free monthly cap or the Pro fair use limit), remaining, and whether the limit is reached. Read-only; does not count against the meter. | |
smseveryone_request_feature | Request a missing feature Tell usefulapi that the user needs something the SMS Everyone tools cannot do yet (a missing tool, field or filter). Call it only when the user asks for something none of the tools can do, and tell the user that you send the request. Do not call it for errors or for normal requests. Do not include personal data, credentials or customer records. Stored with the product name and the client type (for example Claude or Cursor), without the user's account. At most 5 requests per day. Does not count against the meter. | |
smseveryone_upgrade | Upgrade to Pro (unlimited*) Get Pro: unlimited tool calls (fair use limit: 10,000 a month) on SMS Everyone (the free tier caps monthly usage). Plans: "monthly" — $9/month; "yearly" — $90/year (2 months free). Cancel any time: Pro then runs to the end of the paid period, so it also suits a one-time job. *A fair use limit applies. For heavy use (near Pro's limit): "plus" or "plus_yearly" — Pro+, $39/month or $390/year, unlimited tool calls (fair use limit: 100,000 a month); an existing Pro subscription changes to Pro+ in place (needs confirm: true; the price difference for the rest of the period is charged at once). Otherwise returns a short link to open in your browser (it opens Stripe Checkout); after payment the account upgrades automatically. Does not count against the meter. | |
smseveryone_cancel_subscription | Cancel the Pro subscription Cancel the caller's SMS Everyone Pro subscription at the end of the paid period (no refund for the current period; Pro continues until then, then the free tier applies). Requires confirm: true. Run smseveryone_upgrade later to undo the cancel before the period ends. Does not count against the meter. |
| Plan | Price | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 50 tool calls / month |
| Proper SMS Everyone account | $9/mo · $90/yr | Unlimited* |
*Pro fair use limit: 10,000 tool calls a month on this server. For more, write to [email protected].
Pro covers this SMS Everyone server only. Subscribe with smseveryone_upgrade (it returns a Stripe Checkout link). Cancel any time with smseveryone_cancel_subscription: Pro continues to the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current period, and running smseveryone_upgrade before then undoes the cancel. Or write to [email protected].
Check credits before sending. Follow campaign progress and delivery. Review recent customer replies. Send a confirmed reminder or alert. Record customer opt-outs. See what you can do for the details.
No. usefulapi is an independent service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by SMS Everyone. The server calls the SMS Everyone API with your own SMS Everyone access, so it sees only the data that your account can see.
Yes. In Claude, add this server's URL as a custom connector. In ChatGPT, add it as a custom MCP server in Plugins. Then log in once. Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code and Codex work too. See the setup steps.
The login page asks for your API username and API password. See Before you connect for where to find them.
No. Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config. The server signs you in with OAuth: the login page asks for your API username and API password. If the config has such a header, remove it: some clients then send that header instead of the login token, and every call fails with 401.
The login stores them encrypted in the authorization grant of your connection. The server uses them to call the SMS Everyone API for you and to derive a private account id for usage metering. usefulapi does not show them on any page or in any reply. To stop all access, remove the connector and change or delete these credentials in SMS Everyone.
Yes, if you approve it. 4 of the 11 SMS Everyone tools can create or change data. The other 7 are marked read-only. Most MCP clients ask you to approve a tool call before it runs.
The Free plan gives 50 tool calls / month. Pro costs $9/mo or $90/yr, with unlimited tool calls (fair use limit: 10,000 tool calls a month), for this SMS Everyone server only. Cancel any time: Pro then runs to the end of the paid period. Run smseveryone_usage_status to see how many calls you used.
Ask the AI to run smseveryone_upgrade: it returns a Stripe Checkout link. To cancel, run smseveryone_cancel_subscription. Pro continues to the end of the paid period.
Tell the AI what you wanted to do. It can send the request with smseveryone_request_feature. We store the text with the server name, the type of AI client and the tool you tried, not with your account, and read every request when we plan new tools. You can send up to 5 requests per day.
Any client that supports remote MCP servers (Streamable HTTP) with OAuth login: Claude (web and desktop), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and others.
This is a Model Context Protocol endpoint — meant to be connected from an AI client, not opened in a browser. An invalid_token response at the URL is the auth gate working as designed; clients authenticate automatically.
