The AI lists bookings in a time window with service, resource, start time, status and the customers on each, so you can prepare the day.
appointedd_list_bookings
The AI checks which days and which start times a service can be booked in a date range, and which resources are available at each time.
appointedd_list_services appointedd_find_available_dates appointedd_find_available_intervals
The AI searches the customer records and lists the bookings of one customer, with their notes, tags and booking statuses.
appointedd_list_customers appointedd_get_customer appointedd_list_bookings
The AI creates the customer if needed, holds a time slot and turns it into a booking. Payment requests are sent only when you ask for them.
Changes data · appointedd_create_customer appointedd_create_reservation appointedd_create_booking
After the appointment, the AI sets the arrival status of a customer on a booking to Arrived, Complete or No Show and adds a note.
Changes data · appointedd_list_bookings appointedd_update_booking_customer
The AI moves a booking to new times or cancels it. A move notifies customers only if you ask; a cancellation may notify them, depending on your Appointedd settings.
Changes data · appointedd_list_bookings appointedd_update_booking appointedd_cancel_booking
Patient data: Do not use this server with protected health information (PHI). We do not sign HIPAA Business Associate Agreements (BAAs). See Terms, Health data.
The login page asks for your Appointedd API key.
Find it in Appointedd under Settings → API (app.appointedd.com/management/settings/api); the API needs a plan that includes it. The key has full access to your organisation. Your key is used only to call the Appointedd API on your behalf; it is never shown to anyone. Booking data can include customers' personal details.
Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config. The server signs you in with OAuth: the login page asks for your Appointedd API key. If the config has such a header, remove it: some clients then send that header instead of the login token, and every call fails with 401.
Turn on the Appointedd connector, then ask in plain words. The AI picks the tools.
| Tool | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
appointedd_list_bookings | read | List bookings List bookings, newest first by default. Filter by time window (after/before), customer, service, resource, category, status or creation/update time. Each booking has its service, resource, start/end, status and the customers on it (with their notes, questions and statuses). Page with `next`. GET /bookings. |
appointedd_list_customers | read | List customers List customers in the CRM: name, email, phone/mobile, address, tags, custom fields, marketing opt-in. Page with `next`. GET /customers. |
appointedd_get_customer | read | Get customer One customer by id. GET /customers/{customer_id}. |
appointedd_list_resources | read | List resources List resources (the staff members, rooms or equipment that bookings are made for): name, assigned service ids and resource group ids. Page with `next`. GET /resources. |
appointedd_list_resource_groups | read | List resource groups List resource groups (id and name). Page with `next`. GET /resources/groups. |
appointedd_list_services | read | List services List services (what can be booked): name, category, durations and prices, buffers, occupancy and booking type. Page with `next`. GET /services. |
appointedd_get_service | read | Get service One service by id, including its booking questions, durations, prices and buffers. GET /services/{service_id}. |
appointedd_list_service_categories | read | List service categories List service categories (id and name). Page with `next`. GET /services/categories. |
appointedd_get_service_category | read | Get service category One service category by id. GET /services/categories/{category_id}. |
appointedd_find_available_intervals | read | Find available times Find the start times at which a service can be booked in the given ranges, with the free resource ids for each (and existing group bookings with room). Step 1 of making a booking: pick a start, then appointedd_create_reservation. Read-only. POST /availability/intervals/search. |
appointedd_find_available_dates | read | Find available days Find which days in the given ranges have any availability for a service (a calendar view; use appointedd_find_available_intervals for the times). Read-only. POST /availability/days/search. |
appointedd_get_reservation | read | Get reservation One reservation (availability slot) by id: its service, resource, times and expiry. GET /availability/slots/{reservation_id}. |
appointedd_create_customer | write | Create customer WRITE: create a customer in the CRM (first and last name required; email, mobile, phone, tags optional). POST /customers. |
appointedd_update_customer | write | Update customer WRITE: change a customer's name, email, mobile, phone or tags. Only the fields you pass are sent; `tags` replaces the customer's tag list. PUT /customers/{customer_id}. |
appointedd_create_reservation | write | Create reservation (hold a time) WRITE: hold a date and time for a booking (step 2). The reservation blocks that slot for `expires_after` minutes (default: the organisation's setting); then call appointedd_create_booking with the returned reservation id. Without resource_id a free resource assigned to the service is picked. POST /availability/slots. |
appointedd_create_booking | write | Create booking WRITE: turn an active reservation into a booking (step 3) for one or more customers; Appointedd matches each customer to the CRM by name/email/mobile or creates it. Payment requests are NOT sent unless send_payment_request is true. With an empty customers list an empty booking is created. POST /bookings. |
appointedd_update_booking | write | Update booking WRITE: change a booking's service, resource, label or total spaces, or move it by giving `parts` with new start/end times. Customers are NOT emailed unless send_notifications is true. PUT /bookings/{booking_id}. |
appointedd_update_booking_customer | write | Update customer on booking WRITE: set the arrival status (Arrived, Complete, No Show, No Status) and/or notes of one customer on a booking. customer_booking_id is the customer's `customer_booking_id` (or `customer_id`) in the booking's customers list. PUT /bookings/{booking_id}/customers/{customer_booking_id}. |
appointedd_cancel_booking | write | Cancel booking WRITE (cannot be undone): cancel a whole booking. Appointedd may notify the customers according to the organisation's settings. To remove one customer from a group booking use appointedd_cancel_booking_customer. POST /bookings/{booking_id}/cancel. |
appointedd_cancel_booking_customer | write | Cancel customer on booking WRITE (cannot be undone): cancel one customer's place on a booking (the booking stays for the others). customer_booking_id is the `customer_booking_id` in the booking's customers list. POST /bookings/{booking_id}/customers/{customer_booking_id}/cancel. |
appointedd_usage_status | Usage status (free-tier meter) Report the caller's current usage: the plan, calls used this month, the limit of the plan (the free monthly cap or the Pro fair use limit), remaining, and whether the limit is reached. Read-only; does not count against the meter. | |
appointedd_request_feature | Request a missing feature Tell usefulapi that the user needs something the Appointedd tools cannot do yet (a missing tool, field or filter). Call it only when the user asks for something none of the tools can do, and tell the user that you send the request. Do not call it for errors or for normal requests. Do not include personal data, credentials or customer records. Stored with the product name and the client type (for example Claude or Cursor), without the user's account. At most 5 requests per day. Does not count against the meter. | |
appointedd_upgrade | Upgrade to Pro (unlimited*) Get Pro: unlimited tool calls (fair use limit: 10,000 a month) on Appointedd (the free tier caps monthly usage). Plans: "monthly" — $9/month; "yearly" — $90/year (2 months free). Cancel any time: Pro then runs to the end of the paid period, so it also suits a one-time job. *A fair use limit applies. For heavy use (near Pro's limit): "plus" or "plus_yearly" — Pro+, $39/month or $390/year, unlimited tool calls (fair use limit: 100,000 a month); an existing Pro subscription changes to Pro+ in place (needs confirm: true; the price difference for the rest of the period is charged at once). Otherwise returns a short link to open in your browser (it opens Stripe Checkout); after payment the account upgrades automatically. Does not count against the meter. | |
appointedd_cancel_subscription | Cancel the Pro subscription Cancel the caller's Appointedd Pro subscription at the end of the paid period (no refund for the current period; Pro continues until then, then the free tier applies). Requires confirm: true. Run appointedd_upgrade later to undo the cancel before the period ends. Does not count against the meter. |
| Plan | Price | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 50 tool calls / month |
| Proper account | $9/mo · $90/yr | Unlimited* |
*Pro fair use limit: 10,000 tool calls a month on this server. For more, write to [email protected].
Pro covers this Appointedd server only. Subscribe with appointedd_upgrade (it returns a Stripe Checkout link). Cancel any time with appointedd_cancel_subscription: Pro continues to the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current period, and running appointedd_upgrade before then undoes the cancel. Or write to [email protected].

No. usefulapi is an independent service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Appointedd. The server calls the Appointedd API with your own Appointedd access, so it sees only the data that your account can see.
No. Do not use this server with protected health information (PHI). We do not sign HIPAA Business Associate Agreements (BAAs). See Terms, Health data.
Yes. In Claude, add this server's URL as a custom connector. In ChatGPT, add it as a custom MCP server in Plugins. Then log in once. Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code and Codex work too. See the setup steps.
The login page asks for your Appointedd API key. See Before you connect for where to find it.
No. Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config. The server signs you in with OAuth: the login page asks for your Appointedd API key. If the config has such a header, remove it: some clients then send that header instead of the login token, and every call fails with 401.
The login stores them encrypted in the authorization grant of your connection. The server uses them to call the Appointedd API for you and to derive a private account id for usage metering. usefulapi does not show them on any page or in any reply. To stop all access, remove the connector and change or delete these credentials in Appointedd.
Yes, if you approve it. 8 of the 20 Appointedd tools can create or change data. The other 12 are marked read-only. Most MCP clients ask you to approve a tool call before it runs.
The Free plan gives 50 tool calls / month. Pro costs $9/mo or $90/yr, with unlimited tool calls (fair use limit: 10,000 tool calls a month), for this Appointedd server only. Cancel any time: Pro then runs to the end of the paid period. Run appointedd_usage_status to see how many calls you used.
Ask the AI to run appointedd_upgrade: it returns a Stripe Checkout link. To cancel, run appointedd_cancel_subscription. Pro continues to the end of the paid period.
Tell the AI what you wanted to do. It can send the request with appointedd_request_feature. We store the text with the server name, the type of AI client and the tool you tried, not with your account, and read every request when we plan new tools. You can send up to 5 requests per day.
Any client that supports remote MCP servers (Streamable HTTP) with OAuth login: Claude (web and desktop), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and others.
This is a Model Context Protocol endpoint — meant to be connected from an AI client, not opened in a browser. An invalid_token response at the URL is the auth gate working as designed; clients authenticate automatically.
